Alternatives to Flowering Rush

Exact replacements are difficult. Add water loving sedges and cattails and Siberian irises then use plants with similar color flowers near the water.

Fact sheet

Baby Joe Pye (Eupatorium dubium)

Picture
One of my favorites. Underused in gardens. Bigger perennial, so background.

Siberian Iris
(Iris sibirica)

Picture
Good steady performer in moist area.
